I agree with you completely. Helping patients find a realistic, sustainable way of eating is so much more effective than pushing strict rules. I like how you mentioned avoiding “good” and “bad” labels this really supports a healthier mindset around food. #beh353

I agree! As dental hygiene students, nutrition plays such a big role in preventing decay and gum disease. Teaching patients which foods can harm their teeth and how to enjoy them safely is such an important part of our job. Love your focus!

Yesss, I love potato salad too! I’m Mexican/Guatemalan, and we always make it a little differently for the holidays mine has a mix of veggies and a creamy dressing. So good! #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social

Great choice! I like that this article connects nutrition directly to kids’ physical fitness. I agree it’s important that resources are not only evidence-based but also easy for parents and caregivers to understand and apply. #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social

I agree finding that balance really does make a difference. Small goals can feel doable, and that can motivate clients to keep going. And you're right, working as a team and showing empathy helps people feel supported instead of overwhelmed. #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social

Yes, that part really stood out to me too. It’s sad because the kids don’t choose the situation they’re in. School should help them, not make it harder. Fixing nutrition at school is a big step in breaking that cycle. #beh353 @beh353.bsky.social

I totally get that! It’s so hard to find the time and energy to cook when school gets busy. I’m trying to plan simple meals ahead or batch-cook on weekends it helps a bit. You’ve got this! #HealthyHabits
