I did that last year! The views of the coastline were gorgeous but the trail seems less well maintained than the Jogasaki portion. I’m keeping it short today because heat but here’s a view for you!

If you're anywhere near Sapporo, there is a great exhibit on Abe Kōbō at the Hokkaido Literature Museum. I had no idea that he had connections to Hokkaido! Or that his mom was a published author and his wife a talented artist. These ladies deserve more critical attention!
