First, many SNAP recipients have jobs. They’re just living below the poverty line because of tremendous wealth inequality.
Second, many are disabled and children and can’t work.
Third, no one should starve to death.

I keep hearing MAGA people say that we are not a democracy We are a republic. But the U.S. is both a constitutional republic and a representative democracy. The founders used ‘republic’ to mean a democracy that operates through elected representatives. So when people vote, that is a democracy 🇺🇸
