The level of English will be level B2 (currently level B1) on the CEFR scale. That’s the equivalent to being able to take A levels in English not to pass an English A level. But I do agree that many people born in the UK would struggle to meet this criteria especially for the written test.

I did a quick check this afternoon and it looks like it is quoting standard service times. Does not look like bespoke or even current processing times so not much practical value but would be happy to be proved wrong
