And reading that back I can see my own mistakes in written English 🙄
The level of English will be level B2 (currently level B1) on the CEFR scale. That’s the equivalent to being able to take A levels in English not to pass an English A level. But I do agree that many people born in the UK would struggle to meet this criteria especially for the written test.
