Duke Energy has a legal monopoly on electricity in North Carolina. They're also one of the biggest spenders on lobbying and political campaigns in our state legislature.
They're trying to flex that muscle right now to pass Senate Bill 261 in our legislature. Don't let them get away with it.

Here's some more bird visitors! Don't mind the murky ones it rained hard that day, but I saw some new bird friends and wanted to share! I was especially excited for the pictures of the Yellow-Rumped Warbler (quick lil suckers) and the Eastern Towhee (usually a ground bird)!
