Quick heads up that the cover for Stars Still Fall has had a small update (literally just the title font), so if you have an ebook copy, you may notice that update in your reader, depending on where you got it from.

The new house is stunning in the mornings. Makes it so much nicer to wake up. I'm really grateful we have the opportunity to live here.
Sunrise through winter-bare trees over the glimmer of a distant lake and a neighbor's roof. A living room. The walls are painted peach. The furniture is mostly deep green or soft pink. Sunlight is diffusing through sheer curtains on a floor to ceiling window that takes up most of one wall; it makes the room almost glow. I'm a hundred percent obsessed with these tiny mushroom shelves I bought off Etsy. They're handmade, hand painted, and so charming. TinyShroomStudio if you want your own.

Well, finally moved in. Second night in the new house, first night with the whole family+99% of our stuff here. Absolutely exhausted, already in bed at 9:30, but have a couple of books and a couple of cryptid bedtime buddies. ✌️ Love, Jules, Mothman & Yeti

So the Internet still hasn't been hooked up at the new house so we're still living halfway in between, but today I moved my writing desk over and I am SO HAPPY it will be in my bedroom now instead of in the highest traffic hallway in the residence. 🙏 (Don't judge everything is still in progress lol)

Writer pals! How do you do most of your writing? Laptop, typewriter, phone (chaos!)? I do most of mine on a tablet I bought for exactly that purpose, hoping it would help minimize distractions. I painted the front of her cover myself and have been collecting fun stickers on the back.

Nate never remembered hearing the gunshot, only the crack of the bullet lodging in the floor and then the distinctive slide and click of a pump-action rifle being reloaded. Nate looked to Vic first, but she and everyone else were looking up and toward the back of the room. Nate followed the line of sight to see a tall woman in a navy blue corset rest the butt of a rifle against her bare shoulder, loosely aimed at their gaming table. "Good evening, Mr. Caine," she called down. "Not to be uncharitable, but if you don't put that toothpick away and back up a couple of steps in the next ten seconds, there's gonna be a hole where your head used to be."

We're at the end of published works now, so hopping in to the WIPs! Some of the reworked text in A TIME FOR US.
"I know, I know." She reached out and touched Genevieve's shoulder, not reacting when the girl twitched away from her hand. "Come on, Genny. Want to give your Uncle Jonah a hug before we go?" Jonah felt bad for her--he'd always hated being forced to hug his relatives when he was a teenager--and held out his hand for a fist-bump. She took the offered out with something he dared imagine was gratitude, and Ben gave him a hearty slap on the back before he guided his daughter out the door and toward the stairs. Jonah heard their footsteps echoing in the old stairwell and thought briefly about what falling down those steps had felt like. He remembered thinking it was all Sean's fault, the bastard, even though Sean hadn't been anywhere in a ten-block radius at the time.
