When you’re ready to campaign in Iowa, we have a couple of acres East of Des Moines where you could hold a rally.

Proud of my Norwegian ancestry! My grandfather was Norwegian. I was 2 months old when he passed away. He was a mechanic and inventor. I would have loved to have met him. He was thrilled to see that I inherited his cleft chin. A trip to Norway is warranted.

The 6 YO, leaned into me “Grandma, I don’t know this song.” I said “Neither do I.” Then she said “But I know this one!!” & started singing “Hot To Go” really loud. I’m sure my shaking shoulders looked like I was crying to the people behind us. No. I was laughing so hard! I was sure Dad was, too.

Going up through the processional at my 98 YO dad’s funeral in September, both of my granddaughters (3.5 and 6) walked with me, hand in hand, to the front pew of the church with the rest of the family. They snuggled with me as we sat. The organist started playing a hymn – quite loud. 2/
