My FB comment yesterday was "A life lost is always sad. Still, the divisive and harmful views Charlie Kirk promoted won't be missed." A relative responded "I'll remember to say the same at your funeral too. How disgusting." Guess we won't be going to family gatherings any more.

Law and Order Party my ass! I knew things were going to get bad on 1/20 - I didn't realize it would be THIS bad. Between the Nazi salute, the pardons, the laughing at the prayer for the vulnerable, etc. - I'm feeling depressed and sad. Cheer me up, please!

Nothing better than having the granddaughters here for the weekend (ages 6 and 3). The 3 yo, who can be a bit strong willed, just told me she loved me. Best. Day. Ever.

After nonstop cooking and cleaning from 2 pm on Wednesday until 6 pm on Thanksgiving day, I’m spending my Friday wearing sweats, drinking wine and reading back-to-back silly detective stories on my iPad. What are you doing today? 🥂

I hope Medicare using Trump voters realize that even w supl. insurance, if they need to get a dental crown, they're going to have to pay at least 1/2 of the $1,000 to $3,500 cost. Harris/Walz proposed dental and vision coverage for those on Medicare. Low intelligence voters, for sure.

We put this baby into storage for the winter. My dad, who passed away in September at the age of 98, loved to drive this 1969 Firebird. We keep it at our house for my mom during the "nice" Iowa months and take it for fun drives. Looking forward to spring.
