Happy for Julia Cumming (who's barely an acquaintance but her dad is a pal) for her role in Running Man. I alway think of her with that short blonde punky hair.

*Pollyanna. Though Poly Anna adds a new dimension. Also Christian Roberts is in it. Always good looking. He turns up in a lot of my favorites, Twisted Nerve, To Sir With Love, even The Mind of Mr. Soames. Worked very little on screen past the 60s. He wrote a book called "Thank God I'm Not Famous."

After watching the 4th movie of "the beard period," meetings with remarkable men (which I REALLY wanted to like, most of which he made at the same time as Superman) I think the beard just makes him like like a miserable SOB. Which I guess works for all those characters.
