In more uplifting news, 1,000 people protested ICE’s abduction of a mother and children at the home of the agency’s acting head Tom Homan.

Notably, the entire population of the town is just 1,450.

I thought I'd seen it all from the Home Office.
But denying asylum to women who stand up for their rights from Afghanistan!
'It is considered you do not face a real risk of harm,' officials wrote.
Have they seen what the Taliban does to women who resist??

You only make
carrier language easier - keep subject specific words hard. Microsoft and Grammarly will check your writing for conciseness therefore improving readability.

Lots of new followers in the last few days - 👋🏽 I don’t post much but very into inclusion and SEND. Hate exclusions - we need a better way to meet children’s needs. If they can’t function in an environment then we need a better system to support them not punish them. We can do better.

98% of the adult cares homes closed to protect people from harm were run by for profit companies. And 90% of children's homes.

Time to end this absurdity. Core public services should not be cash cows for private equity.

Study finds more than 90% of facilities for children and 98% of those for adults that were closed down were run for profit

Boo. Rosie Duffield’s resignation letter makes no mention of women’s rights and reads as if it were written by Kemi Badenoch or Hugo Rifkind. None of these things is good. 🫤
Labour MP Rosie Duffield says she’s quitting the party over Keir Starmer's "cruel" policies and "hypocrisy" over his acceptance of gifts.

I don’t believe her explanation for a minute.

I've written a guide to using student data for teachers, which includes the following checklist for the information you should have to hand.

Have a think about what you already have & what you can gather as you meet your new classes this term.

Is there anything else you'd add to the list?
