Helene was a superb scientist, a dedicated mentor and a dear friend. A thoroughly lovely person whom I shall dearly miss. Her courage and strength in the face of her illness was extraordinary. I am so sad to hear this news.

How about the authors sign off on the authenticity of *their* citations - not talking about *missing* citations which is its own problem - but that the citations are legit & cite what they say they do. And if there turn out to be a fakes, auto-reject. Heat needs turned up b/c it's out of control
