unspoken horror in hypostasis is that the ENTIRE time in the facility is just the typical l corp game. joker and akechi are nuggets. their lives have no value and get reset whenever manager feels like. the story is about them but the game is certainly not

as for the shuake bit, what they have is unhealthy and codependent, but their larger situation at l corp is just so giga fucked that it's tame in comparison. they support AND enable each other and neither will recover continuing that way.

i dont talk about my fic on main bc its like ah yes i subjected joker to at least two fates worse than death and get him and akechi killed regularly, and thats low priority on their list their concerns. its projmoon babey it ALWAYS gets worse
