I've been saying this for awhile. If Trump enacts his tariffs our economy is fucked.
Prepare for an economic collapse on the scale of the Great Depression. I truly wish that were hyperbole at this point, but I am deadly serious. We are not getting out of this without a degree of pain very few of us have seen in our lifetimes.
Trump: "Tariff is the most beautiful word in the dictionary. It‘ll make our country rich. You go back and look at the 1890s, 1880s mckinley and you take a look at tariffs. That was when we were at our proportionately the richest."
