So... I find myself collecting something of a list of questions across various topics. Might start throwing a few out, see if anyone has ideas/answers.

One of the very first things we were told in level design was: Make placeholders look BAD. Because the better a placeholder looks, the higher the chance that it'll get missed when adding the real assets, and the game might ship with it still there.

idk it just makes me so mad that professional development teams are using the trash generator and making excuses about it when im literally a hobbyist solo dev (who until quite recently also had severe carpal tunnel syndrome) and i'm getting along without it just fine. it's coward shit. it's weak

I normally find these super corny, but honestly I was super intrigued about this one ('cos kobold brain easily kept focused by food I guess lmao)
And honestly... that tracks lmao. (Even if most of what I think was the "Upper Class" foods just had fish in 'em, which is like the one thing I won't eat)

Not sure how I feel about E621 using FurID for verification, they've had some contrOwOversy about their use of personal infOwOmation, but since it's a requirement to use the site now, guess I got no choice...

Got a reminder today that I need to start Watermarking anything I make - was told earlier that a pillow-seller on Aliexpress has stolen the Daki design I made for my kobold (posted on E621) and is selling it for $15.
Jokes on them, it was never made to be used and is riddled with mistakes, so hah!

See, the trick here is to just... get a whole bunch of those scenes/character/events and mash 'em together! Sure, it'll be a bit weird and disjointed in the beginning, but refine it enough and nobody will notice all the sticky-tape you've used to hold 'em together!
