I went for a bit of a walk at Wirraminna Environmental Education Centre at Burrumbuttock today. The volunteers do an amazing job looking after these lovely native gardens!

These regent parrots are inspecting a nest hollow in a river red gum along the Murray River - females are the boss in this species and she's not having any of his nonsense when it comes to choosing a good nest 😂

Grey skies at last - makes the Yellow Box (E. melliodora) stand out as the grey leaves reflect the sky. They drop outer branches when stressed, and the cockies chew them but they are still there. #naturefix
