Sad trans girl. Writes horror. Watches movies.
Final Exam is an odd favorite of mine. Has some truly disturbing college pranks, a weirdly sedate killer, and a lot more atmosphere than thrills. If you're like me and enjoy "sleepy slashers," like In A Violent Nature and Terror At Tenkiller then you've probably already seen and loved Final Exam!

I dunno. I just wanna talk about fun stuff today and not be depressed. So . . . what are some of your favorite one hit wonders? The one on my mind is Tarzan Boy by Baltimora. The hook is so annoying it's catchy, or it's just annoyingly catchy . . . depending on who you ask.

Sometimes I have little stories from my life I like to share.

My next novella is coming out on November 22nd! This is cosmic horror. No gore, no slashers, but LOTS of weird monsters, sea-gods, and even an ancient kingdom filled with fish-people! If you're looking for something Lovecraftian to read this winter, keep your eyes peeled for OUR SARNATH!

Got the full wrap for this one!

My splatter-slashers Summer Never Ends and Summer Never Ends II: God's Mistake are both available on KU, paperback, and eBook on Amazon. If you like subversive, old school, high-energy, summer-set slashers with big body counts, you'll have a great time with these two!

If you live in Salt Lake City . . . be there.
If you don't live in Salt Lake City . . . be there anyways.

The ebook version of Carnage on 84th Street is blocked. I'm currently trying to figure out how to talk to a human being on amazon about it. The paperback is still available. Buy it now before it becomes lost media.

My next collections are both up for preorder!
An Affront to Man (Three Novellas) is coming March 8th.
Terror! Horror! Agony! (Ten Short Stories) is coming April 8th.

Always hoping more folks will read my crazy, old-school zombie book, TORTURE THE SINNERS! A group of young people go to an abandoned monastery to party, only to find themselves trapped in a hidden catacomb, where the undead love nothing more than to torture the living!

Finished up this collection of quieter horror stories today. Now I'm just getting it ready for the editor. Hoping to have a release date sooner rather than later.

My end-of-year wrap up thingy arrived from Letterboxd and this part of it made me chuckle.

I love The Hunger Games franchise. BUT . . . THAT SAID . . . this shot of Peta disguised as a rock will never fail to make me burst into incredulous laughter. Genuinely, like, what am I even looking at here?

I like 90s cgi because although it may look bad ... at least it's FUN. Modern CGI just tends to look flat and lifeless. 90s CGI ran on cocaine and spite.

If you liked Hereditary but wished it had The Evil Dead style body horror, then do I have the book for you! LOW BLASPHEMY is old-school splatterpunk! Creepy, gory, and bloody as hell! Follow a young girl as she and her family battle an onslaught of mutated/zombified cultists on their isolated farm!

Some of my BEST short stories are collected in EVERY NIGHT IN THE BONE ORCHARD. Including my Gross Out winner, LOLCOW, my emotional story about mudslides, A TASTE OF IT, and a dream I once had, transcribed exactly as I remember it, THE LAST OF THE CAULDER BUNCH.
