Oh, how pretty!

Yes, funny how certain reads stay with you. This collection had slipped my mind, yet for some reason on Sunday morning I felt compelled to seek it out. Opened it to start reading while (we were) in the car(of course) and headed East. First poem I read and it landed as a #Wow for sure.

So pretty!

Great shot. I witnessed two crows going after a Cooper Hawk above my yard last week. The crows raised a ruckus and eventually scared the hawk off. From the looks of things, no one was hurt. The hawk looked beautiful in the light though, as if momentarily dusted in silver and edged with rust.

This is adorable.
