I LOVE TO GUSH!!! These are by Beam Paints and my favorite is probably this deep forest color whose exact name escapes me rn BUT OUGHHH I adore them
An assortment of colorful paint stones by beam paints next to their rustic wooden holder and sitting on the green checkered cloth they came with. One of the paints is sitting in a tiny ceramic turtle!!!! The paints set in their log holder thing in bright sunshine. They're so beyond gorgeous.

A picture of the cloudless sunset we had yesterday, it's a very smooth gradient of dark blue into orange-y white. The place where I live doesn't often have these cloudless days, so I was somewhat taken aback! This was also taken in a walmart parking lot and I had to angle the camera higher up so I didn't get anything else but the sky in my shot lol

A traditional pencil and ink drawing of my oc Vinny that I got a little more experimental with. He's drawn in a light continuous contour style and I've cut out pieces of the paper with a knife. An ink ombre is revealed by the cuts that goes from a vibrant blood red at the top to black. Vinny's left eye is either bleeding or crying, I never did decide. His expression is morose, but his mouth is obscured by the ink. He's got elf-like ears and his hair is long and messy.

A chapter cover for a webcomic called 'Something You Want'. A short blonde woman is falling in a void, she holds a pair of scissors in one hand, and the other stretches upwards with her phone screen on to illuminate the title above her. It's a very limited palette that mostly sticks to grey hues except for the cold bright light the phone provides. SYW was never finished, its creator Kira passed away in 2019. I really dearly loved this story, and I'll probably be thinking about it for the rest of my life. It's quite dark, but has an excellent balance of goofiness to it. You'll love it if you're into gore, loveable fucked up characters that pull your heartstrings, and goofy fun loving silly times. Kira inspired me and my art immensely. She was so compassionate, funny, and talented. SYW was the first fandom I ever delved into and it was certainly the best. I'll hold the experience of following this comic in real time in my heart forever. I don't know that I can properly express how deeply and thoroughly I cherish it. Highly recommend giving it a read, there's an archive available since its original site went down. A group of three friends lie in a cuddle pile. One is awake looking out a window overlooking a cityscape lit up in the yellow morning light. Above them in the corner are several wooden masks. This piece is done in a watercolor style with a primarily yellow-blue pallette. This comic, 'Prague Race' wasn't finished and honestly I don't know that you can read it anywhere in its entirety. Its creator, Petra Nordlund, started another comic called 'Tiger, Tiger'. That one is free to read online and it's in print, though still ongoing. A chapter cover for a comic called 'Witchy'. A young girl with short blonde hair wearing a purple cloak lies unconscious on a forest floor. She's surrounded by 8 ghostly little creatures with big eyes and sprouts on their heads who are all looking at her. There is a teal hue to the scene, giving it an ethereal atmosphere. The image only takes up a fourth of the page, the rest is black except for the title. Witchy is by Ariel Ries, it's available online free to read, has 2 books out in print and is still currently ongoing though as of now on hiatus. A chapter cover for a comic called 'The Glass Scientists'. The chapter title at the top in a swirly white font with red boarders reads 'A Spectacular One-Night Engagement.' A man is suspended in the air above a stage before a crowded audience. Stylized tendrils of darkness surround him. He's contorted such that we see him in a ¾ perspective from his back and his head is turned upwards towards the viewer. His expression is one of horror, and his eyes and mouth glow a ghastly orange color, similar to the brightly lit background. He is rendered in very dark colors in stark contrast. TGS is by Sage Cotugno. It's free to read online, has 2 volumes in print, and is currently ongoing.

A traditional drawing colored in colored pencil and lined with a black felt tip pen. It's my oc Vinny standing in a funky pose wearing an outfit I referenced from a rando's selfie. It consists of a cropped purple hoodie that has a scarf-like neck where the hood ought to be and big puffed sleeves, wide legged high waist tan pants, black fingerless gloves, and a silky black cropped tank situation to cover most of his torso. It's about ¾ of his body you can see, cut off just after the knees. Between the tank and hoodie, a bit of his chest pokes out, same of his tummy. Some patches of body hair are visible on both. Speaking of hair, his is black, shoulder length, and pretty messy. His expression is obnoxiously smug, bc he's the rudest jerk ever and this is what makes him smile. His skin is white with a purple undertone and he has elf-like ears. Behind him there's a sketchy lineless background of trees and grass under a pinkish sky. Some of the blue under sketch shows through. There's also a blue post it note that I don't remember the purpose of, it could've been for a neighboring drawing. Idk how to describe his pose. Cunty, I guess. One hand's rested on his hip, the other on the top of his knee. His legs're spread and his body is facing to the left while his head is turned to the right. Is it poor form to meta comment on one's own image description. I'm sorry for this, I'm so tired, this is an entire second pass and I still feel it's not good.

Drawing of my two ocs Vinny and Dick from about the waist up. Vinny's descending down a set of stairs when he's confronted by Dick at the bottom smiling up at him with a thumbs up saying, "Oh hey, you got your shower, nice!" Vinny has long subtly wavy hair. His features are pretty sharp and angular, I omitted his mouth for the vibe. His eyes are wide with visible bags. His elf like ears are pointed slightly upwards. Dick has shoulder length curly hair and freckles. Whole thing is drawn in a papermate flair pen with a pink pencil sketch still visible. Dang. Apparently I smudged Dick's arm, I just noticed. Anyway my style is pretty sketchy and cartoon-y. Close-up of Vinny's reaction as he thinks "Is it *that* obvious when I DON'T???" He's frowning profoundly, his eyes widened and eyebrows tensed in rage. His little ear is also tilted more downwards. And to answer his question, it is GLARINGLY obvious, his hair's volume is a dead giveaway and the signature lock between his eyes falls in line with the rest of his hair to get out of his face.

This is my dear oc Vinny rendered in an experimental inking style for me. At the top he's inked with thin lines, you can only see his nose and open mouth, his fangs are dripping with a liquid. Some large sharp lines jut out to serve as a background. There's a bold line of ink separating that and the larger part of the piece. The lines are thicker here, done in a brush instead of a nib. That drip seemingly morphs into a tear from an eye you can't see. His mouth is still hung open, but he's calmed down. There's a drop of something on his bottom lip and he's holding a finger to his sharp chin. You can see some of his long black hair flowing off to the side and an elf-like ear poking out from it. His hand and torso fade into a greyer, slightly swirly ink void. The date is written on the other side of the page where I blotched some test ink- it's October 25th 2023 I think. And the sketchbook itself is sitting on a floral comforter. An ink drawing of my oc Dick made with a nib I was testing out. He looks to the camera from a bit of a downward ¾ perspective, shoulders slouched, his thick eyebrows knit with worry, and mouth slightly agape to let out a puff of breath visible in the cold air. He's got a scarf on that I bothered to shade in a hatch-y manner, and his short curly hair is brushed back a bit so you can see one of his ears. His face is a round squarish shape dotted with freckles. Think I made his nose a little too small, but there's a small scar on there too. Guess it may also be important to note I draw in a very pared down manga kinda style. Kinda cartoony, but I try to insert some deets in there when I'm not lazy. Oh, and you can see some pencil under drawing too. I like, never do that lmao. And yes, it does absolutely ruin my life sometimes. There's also some little scribbles I didn't crop out at the adjacent corners. A very blobby brush ink drawing of my cat, Mr. Floof from many years ago. The lines are very thick but simplistic. He's lying on a ribbed pillow, you can see two little nubs sticking out at his front. His eyes and nose are just 3 blobs and his tail is sticking straight out defying gravity 'cause the pillow is elevating the rest of his body, so wouldn't that tail drop down to the implied ground? Whatever man.

The more contrast-y one was used as an icon

A colored pen drawing featuring my main three characters. Jules, Dick, and Vinny. Jules has chin length brown hair, medium warm toned skin, and a blue shirt. He's holding a piece of street food in a red and white checkered wrapper, looking on at the other two who have their backs turned and their heads pressed together affectionately. Dick's got curly orange hair while Vinny has long straight black hair. Either way, all Jules can think of while looking at 'em is "Halloween." Oh and there's a scribbly attempt at a plant filled background. Did you know papermate flair pens have water soluble ink? It's fun to play around with. A scribbly digital rendering of my ocs Dick and Vinny from the torso up. I want you to know this is the best coloring I've ever done of them. They're backed by sunlight, Dick's in the foreground looking away with a slightly morose expression as Vinny stands behind trying to reach a hand out to him. Dick has slightly cool toned brown skin, but the light and shadows bring out a bit of warmth. Omfg I forgot his freckles. Ough. He also has a little nose scar and gorgeous dark brown eyes. His curly hair is auburn, and honestly I draw it too orange most of the time. Technically he's not wearing anything? But that wasn't intentional, I'm sure I meant to give him a shirt 'cause he doesn't have nips. I gave Vinny a warm grey shirt at least. His skin is kind of a chalk color, much more predisposed to taking on the hues of the light around him. You can see one of his long elf-like ears poking out from his long dark hair which would usually just be black, but in this light, there's a little brown. A sketchy-scribbly sketchbook page with a fully colored ¾ headshot of Jules lined in pen and rendered mostly in watercolor except for his yellow turtleneck done in colored pencil. His brown hair's slightly curly and puffy. He looks a little irate, his eyebrows tensed, eyes wide, mouth open, possibly to yell at someone. There's a bit of a purple shadow on his eyes. Next is a colored pencil drawing of Vinny when he was younger, he's more scrawny and his sharp features are elongated. He's wearing a white button up and brown overalls. He's got his hands clapped together like he's preparing to speak. His expression is more placid, though he's got something of a resting bitch face, so he could come off as seeming annoyed. His hair's messy, thinner, but still long and black. A lock of it is draped across his face. Lastly, there's a side headshot of Dick in the corner in blue pen and I bothered to color his orange hair. I brushed water over it to give an impression of shadows.
