Good morning. This is the first morning for some time I don’t have to be up. I switched off my alarm but was still woken by the cats wanting breakfast. Going to make a second mug of tea and get back under the duvet. Weather App says it’s going to be fine today..we’ll see.

Morning. More rain forecast for today. Don’t really have any plans for the weekend. Need to catch up with paperwork. Go through my wardrobe and put away all my summer clothes.

I hadn’t seen the news about this storm and the flooding. Very sad to hear about the elderly couple.

Interesting watching The Choral, spotting the filming locations. Saltaire and Salts Mill featured quite a lot. I had listened to Kermode and Mayo’s review of the film but I wasn’t prepared for how emotional the final scenes would be.

River in Tad very high yesterday. A lot of debris flowing towards the bridge. Hope there’s someone assigned to keeping the arches clear.

I think we’ll go to Bruks in Peter Lane. We’re going to see the film at City Screen, they also serve food, but we weren’t too impressed with their menu.

Morning all. Dark and damp days. Comfort food needed yesterday, made myself Toad in the Hole, was it Tony made it a couple of weeks ago?
Heading into York today, lunch with friends then going to see The Choral.

Definitely outrageous!

It is stress related so we were expecting it when I was away in Italy and the cats went to my son and his girlfriend in Pudsey. Sent all his medication just in case. But my son is his favourite person so he was perfectly fine with them.

He becomes very restless, frequently hopping in and out of his litter tray…and the plant pots if I don’t keep them out of his way. Squatting and only passing small amounts. I’ve learned to recognise the early signs to start him on his medication as soon as.

Shrewsbury hospital has already introduced it in some areas.
I was asked to wear a mask when I had my eyes tested a couple of weeks ago.
