Took myself to Whitby yesterday. Poured down almost all the way there then the sun came out and the rest of the day was lovely. Fish and chips for lunch lovely 😋

Good morning. Your forecast looks better than ours, misty/fog most of the day. Was hoping to get the bedding on the line.

This was our schedule for our Puglia trip 2/3 nights in each venue. It did mean we visited and saw a lot. We had the relaxing breaks at Le Capese and Amastuola wine resort but, now I’m home, I’m so pleased to unpack and put my suitcase away. Would I do it again..the jury’s out on that.

From Ostuni we visited the Truli houses in UNESCO listed Alberobero and wandered around the old town. Then on to Lecce where we got hopelessly lost trying to find our B&B. Now 3 days relaxing at a spa. Massages booked for this afternoon.

Good morning all. Sightseeing in 30 degree heat is draining.

From here we’ve been able to visit Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, old town built on the cliffs above the Adriatic. Moving south today to Ostuni, about an hour’s drive south.

Good morning #ORCs. We’ve had our first 3 nights here in a converted chapel and abbot’s retreat. Just a 30 minute drive from Bari Airport. Temperatures are high making a dip in the pool very welcome.

Good morning, Cooler day yesterday for meeting a friend and a walk through the YSP. Always calming. Both lunch and cake were consumed. Friend is a Barnsley girl but has lived many years in the USA, took citizenship 2yrs ago. About to return, her son is at uni in Arkansas. She’s quite apprehensive.

Morning all, looks like another warm day. All washing dried on the line yesterday which means the ironing mountain has to be tackled today. Downloaded an app for scanning barcodes to tell me the product’s rating for use of Palm Oil. Delighted to find Lindt chocolate is rated ‘Excellent’ 😋
