I find it heartening they couldn't find anyone with medical credentials willing to compromise their ethics and sign this. Perhaps a sign of laziness? Or maybe they just feel confident enough to be that brazen.

Thank you so much for your efforts. Keep pushing!

Thank you for bringing this forward and forcing the Republicans to reaffirm the tariffs under their names. We need more of these kinds of actions.

We need a more aggressive approach, so hopefully these actions aren't one-offs.

Nice to see a university show some spine. This is how you respond to Trump's bluster.

God damn Newsom. When will everyone learn that groveling before Trump just invites further attacks? It demonstrates that you are an easy target.

Great news. Other meetings and conferences should follow suit. Organizers shouldn't hold their events in states that aren't welcoming to all members of their organizations.

Seems hypocritical to complain when this is what you and your colleagues voted for when you allowed the CR to pass. Stop reporting on what they are doing and put forward a clear set of actions to oppose them.

Thanks for providing a resource I can point to when my employer asks why I don't travel to Texas.

I hate that we have to warn against foreign travel. I had been looking forward to world pride as a celebration of progress, but we can't in good conscience tell people travel is safe.

Wonderful! If the administration won't fight, at least the faculty remember the proud traditions of academia.
March 25, 2025 at 8:48 PM
And is there anything you propose to do about it? Judging from your actions during the CR vote, I guess not. If your goal is to express outrage about it, perhaps consider resigning to devote more time to your social media career.

Will you and your colleagues investigate these obvious failures to protect classified information, demand they resign, and unite the democratic party in opposing further incompetent appointments? Please actually fight these people more aggressively.

Thank you for bringing this energy. Really wish the party leadership would join in.

The damage Trump's minions are doing to the NIH, universities, and the broader scientific enterprise mean that they already have blood on their hands, and the longer it lasts, the worse it gets. Medical science is a triumph built over decades. Losing it is a tragedy.
