Crossed paths with a gang of elk on the Lake Estes trail yesterday. Probably around 150-200 of them, grazing happily and totally unbothered. A welcome reminder of serenity in nature.

Second consecutive evening with MJ Lenderman & the Wind, this time at Boulder’s Fox Theatre. Opened with “Ghost of Your Guitar Solo.” Wild seeing them at this inflection point where MJL’s career is really taking off in a big way. Catch these guys at a smallish venue while you still can.

Saw MJL in Fort Collins last night, will be seeing him again in Boulder tonight. Man, what a show.
