I've been using Linux Mint for almost 10 years in my Laptop now (still use Windows 10 Professional in my desktop). It uses the same libraries as Ubuntu, and feels a lot like Windows, making the transition easier.

In short, I love it!

This is why I don't have an Alexa.....or a smart TV.....or use any Google products. I even have a de-Googled phone running Lineage O.S., and I use www.fastmail.com for my email service.

Take your privacy back people....their are far better options out there than products that spy on you!!!
Email and calendar made better
Fast, private email hosting for you or your business. More productive, lightning fast, simple and built to save you time.

So basically, civil asset forfeiture....which is a fancy way of saying we stole their money for no good reason whatsoever. I mean, did they have any proof at all that this money was proceeds from a crime? Or was it simply these poor souls life savings that was just stolen?

I got a harsh lesson in reality of this with Charlie "the white supremacist" Kirk. I found out the hard way that a good part of my family thought the world of this guy, despite the horrible things he used to say. Needless to say, I didn't visit them for Christmas.......

My god......why is nobody stopping this guy? What the hell are the Republicans in the House and Senate thinking??!!!

WIndows 11- the best reason to switch to Linux yet!

And the scariest thing of all.....nobody is stopping any of this. The checks and balances that we were told are supposed to stop this.......haven't.

And with today's technology.....it is worse than anything George Orwell predicted.

Nice! That's mostly how it happens. For me, it is a hobby that I really like....not to mention that I still use my old machines for several things, such as writing and spreadsheets, as well as vintage gaming.

But I think mostly, I just miss a simpler time.........

I've collected them over the years from various places. For example, I got 8 or so of them for $50 from an eBay auction several years back. I am slowly going through them, and eventually will be selling more of them off.

It is unbelievable how many people still believe him.....and believe in him. I always wondered how 1930's Germany fell for Hitler's BS......now I know.

As I'm sure you know, the Atari 800 plays a mean game of "Missile Command"!

I think I have about a total of 30 or so compact Macs (mostly SE/30's) in various states in my collection.
