It's 2025 and there is really a woman out there blaming Emmett Till for his lynching and defending one of the accomplices of his lynching.

Swing and a miss.
Some good ol' fashioned warrior ethos.

bees who work:
•important even if we don't really know them
•necessary even though it may feel like it's not
•difficult to appreciate what they do because we don't appreciate them
•easy to not think of them individually and disregard their worth
•sad it we think they're the problem

Just another day of not believing the absurdities in an attempt to slow the roll of atrocities.

Someone referred to Trump sitting in his Oval Office cuck chair and I can't un-think it.

You know how we have all these images of the opulence of Versailles and how they serve as a visual tool as to the cautionary tale leading up to the whole Revolution thing where folks talked about cake and lost their heads...Anyways, just thinking out loud.

In the Canadian neighbourhood group page the most un-Canadian thing happened about the most Canadian thing.
PS. The Habs won in OT and Basma's cousin was very happy.

Trust me when I say that Thursday was lit.

It's good to be home for the Monday morning grain orders...but it is entirely possible that the front porch office view will be mothballed until 2024. Meanwhile, Daisy and I are enjoying the view of the Kennebec on this dreary, chilly, rainy, grey day.

Monday morning grain orders are not happening on the front porch due to high winds and driving rain (I did fetch my front porch office chair out of the flower bed and restore it to the porch)
So the view is different but the supervision remains very Daisy.

SITREP: Frosty, foggy and the cover crop still sexy AF.

My Monday morning front porch office has been temporarily relocated, sans Daisy, but the grain orders are in.

Little delay this morning getting to the front porch office due to a quick 60 mile round trip, emergency parts delivery to the field...but Daisy and I are nose to the grindstone now even if we're a bit behind.

Coffee, cover crop and sunshine. The way life should be.
October 4, 2023 at 12:21 PM
Monday morning sunshine, Daisy, and tea round out the view from the front porch office as the grain gets ordered for the week.
October 2, 2023 at 11:14 AM
Grain orders are going in from the front porch office under very intense supervision.

That moment when it started raining....AGAIN.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised by all the folks preemptively taking a stand against common courtesy and making a commitment to weaponize such flagrant oppressive acts as, well, you know common courtesy.
And yet...I am.

Getting those grain orders in on this misty Monday morning with the support of Daisy, some strong tea, and a chocolate croissant. Very bougie front porch office views today.
August 28, 2023 at 10:30 AM
Monday morning front porch office views while getting the grain orders in hardly ever change and I'm okay with that.

I don't care what you say, I'm riding in Cadillac style.
August 20, 2023 at 4:07 PM
The days of summer front porch office views are numbered for Daisy and I but...we got the grain orders in and we are soaking these days in while they last.
