Newport’s mayor has been posting hateful memes to an ‘LEO ONLY’ Facebook group since before he was elected. He says they don’t reflect who he is
For years the mayor of an Oregon Coast city has posted hateful memes on Facebook
Since 2016, Newport Mayor Dean Sawyer has posted racist memes mocking both the trans community and Mexicans. He's also made posts that joked about committing violence against women.
