I'm not an economist, but did major in economics. I don't think that would happen. Even so, a thousand dollars is a drop in the bucket for folks whose annual premiums are going up by several thousand dollars.

As a general rule for basic inflation, it's true. Of course, higher prices due to dumb policies such as tariffs and deporting your farm workers causing supply to shrink is another matter entirely. Also, MJ wasn't quite so cavalier about prices when Biden was President.

Some young people are also more confrontational. My college-aged daughter had some protestor friends and they went out looking to confront authorities, rather than protest from the sidelines.
