Done. As a retired Army officer loyal to my oath to defend the constitution, I'm inspired by your clarity and leadership. As I progressed thru the ranks to O6, my relationship to the constitution became clearer with each decision. I appreciate all you do and look forward to reading this book.

Yes. It’s visceral. There’s a pall over the city. It is not the vibrant place it was. People are looking for work. Just as bad, great resentment over national guard presence, widening a gap of trust between citizens and their military.

Me too. I love that scene. Identical sense of dread here as well. Embarrassment is one thing, but the damage is so hard to watch.
