Trump placed her in harm’s way. To protect his own career. It had nothing to do with defending the constitution.
20 year-old National Guard member Sarah Beckstrom has died from her gunshot wounds. May she rest in peace.

Here’s a thought: the next president, in cooperation with the House (people’s reps) demolishes the new ballroom, and rebuilds the east wing and the rose garden. And he funds it with the same corporate donors that built the ballroom.

A disgusting example of the rot internal to the Republican Party as reflected by Young Republican chats. These comments are not jokes and are not funny. The climate in the party clearly makes them feel comfortable posting this dangerous garbage.

I left the post when they capitulated to Bezos, who capitulated to tRump. All the good journalists left. So did readers. I get more accurate news elsewhere. I will never go back.
According to WaPo’s termination letter my post referencing Kirk’s views on Black women was not even brought up.

The Post’s stated reasons are *worse*.

Read the termination letter for yourself.

The ultimate act of a traitor deserves military honors?
"When she joined and whenever she got a promotion, she raised her right hand and said, 'I, Ashli Babbitt, will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic." She died doing the opposite.

Nothing will nail down a Nobel like rebranding to the “Department of War.”

Also sorta overrides the key military mission of deterrence, which is a piece of our national & defense security strategy.

As am I. I am also infuriated but not surprised that military bases have reverted back to renaming them after traitors. This is not remembering history. It is honoring those who fought against our country and our constitution.
“…I am infuriated that the Air Force plans to grant military funeral honors to Ashli Babbitt. She did not die defending the Constitution. She died trying to overturn it.”

Honoring Ashli Babbitt Dishonors the Military

One wonders if the crypto holders were “required “ to invest and what those holdings were.
“The Washington Post identified nearly 70 nominees and officials of the Trump administration who held cryptocurrency or have invested in crypto or blockchain companies. Individual holdings ranged from small investments to at least $120 million.”

1. The media is normalizing Trump's corruption.

There is a massive scandal that almost all media outlets are ignoring.

It involves a new Trump Tower that will be constructed in Bucharest.

Historically, financial entanglements with foreign nationals has been covered as a scandal. Times have changed.

Just in NIH grants, It looks like beautiful Iowa City, home of the U of Iowa, will lose $71m in funding. That's almost $1k per resident. And that's before all the other cuts to SSA, FDA, etc.

Anyone in Iowa City that can offer more insight?
