Doing a work health survey, and they reported on what has risen since I last did it two years ago. The answer is STRESS. Not really sure how to lower that, seems like I'm actively trying to manage it all of the time these days.

Making roasted sweet potatoes. This is simple but seems like a lot of work to chop them up. My kitchen smells awesome now!

Surviving DST - thankfully with work from home I don't have to try to drive when I'm this groggy!

I am getting better at running staff meetings - I actually had fun today. I did a pre-quiz and then set up a Jeopardy-type game based on people's answers. It got everyone involved and talking.

This came up in a meeting today where someone didn't know what BlueSky was. We got a request to change out the Twitter link to BlueSky from an end user trying to send out communications. I was thinking of saying "Twitter for liberals" or "Twitter but not owned by a fascist" as the explanation.

Just finished listening to Educated by Tara Westover. I read way more fiction than non-fiction but I am enjoying reading more memoirs lately. This was really riveting.

I thought tr*mp was getting rid of daylight savings time - so why is happening again this weekend?

Trying to remember if this is the one that my cats like because they get food an hour early or where they get annoyed that their food is one hour late.

It’s definitely something when I remember a dumb song they used to make us sing in elementary school and when I googled the lyrics - it’s racist af

I loved this book. This new cover looks so cool!

Slack is having issues today, so all our methods of notifying central IT are through Slack. Maybe it's working now, and maybe it isn't. But we really rely on this technology, especially for us working from home folks.

This cover looks amazing! Looking forward to reading this. As ever, Moreno-Garcia's new books are always at the top of my TBR!
Reminder that a) I have a new novel called THE BEWITCHING out this summer b) If you've read an ARC of this and liked it please review it.

I probably just need a vacation, but every time I watch White Lotus, I think, "It would be cool to stay at a resort like that." Pretty sure it's WAY beyond my means. And the bored and rich people would be very annoying in real life.

Things are stupid and infuriating, but I did purchase a new bed which just arrived today.

Every new week of Severance I’m scrambling to figure out what’s going on! So good!

Re-reading both of these for book clubs! I think both are five-star reads, and I'm really enjoying them both again. Amina Al-Sirafi audiobook is amazing. Also I'm picking up a ton of foreshadowing in Foundryside that shows up in later books in the trilogy.

Just had a conversation with Deep Seek and omg that thing is a blabbermouth. I am guessing that's a "feature" not a bug.

Thinking about my Lost re-watch. I think I had checked out a bit on the final season, so when I re-watched it, I noticed a lot more details. Including Jacob is NOT a good guy. I love that many characters have good and bad qualities; no one is perfect. And anyone can be redeemed.

Finally finished my Lost rewatch and I enjoyed it. Season six was a little weaker overall but the ending wasn’t that bad!

I don't know why I always put it off, but I finally let my Macbook Pro update to the latest OS, Sequoia. I remember these things taking forever and crashing but it took only about 45 minutes!
