Republicans and Conservatives in 2026: “Actually, the Constitution is there to protect THE GOVERNMENT”
January 17, 2026 at 8:03 PM
Perhaps the most dangerous mindset in the US right now is “don’t sweat it, someone else will be moral and courageous.”

If the last year proved anything, it’s two things:
- no one who fills out a W2 at an institution of power is going to stand up for us
- but everyday randos will, and more every day

Yep. Instant clarity.

Ride it all the way to the Supreme Court and, win or lose, force a reckoning on bigger questions of government power. There simply is no choice here.

Yeah, I mean I’m not as sophisticated or wise as an 11th Circuit judge, but I also noticed the opinion uses “her” as Ms. Wood’s pronouns in addition to plainly calling her a woman.

But she can’t?!?!

Am I missing something?

Is this true? At this point, and with these stakes, it is now your ethical duty to name the offenders. Shielding them makes you just as guilty.

Arguably even more so

Uh-oh, someone showed their hand. So, have farm and hotel workers - and their unions - just learned they have leverage here?

So, there is no mandatory Policies and Procedures and/or Acceptable Use and/or Confidentiality training at onboarding?!?!

Seems like a good FOIA request.

I’m sorry we have such a whiny President, does that count?

Not buying what you’re selling. GOP has a trifecta. If they can’t get THEIR bills through THEIR own majority, that’s THEIR fault.

If you advance their agenda, that’s YOUR fault.

And to the few who remain swing voters, you’ll have to explain one or the other.

Guess which is an easier sell?
