This is a direct consequence of presidential immunity and pardons
New:

On The Gateway Pundit's podcast yesterday, Stewart Rhodes announced he's relaunching the Oath Keepers

He also urged Trump to “call us up as a militia" & "order us all to come together in our counties under his command."

History will treat them as criminals, but too many people don’t have time for history to catch up
Astonishing: Bovino and his agents showed up at the Bean this morning to pose for pictures. While Border Patrol snapped photos, one agent shouted, “Everyone say, ‘Little Village!’” The neighborhood where they are least welcome and most acutely felt. blockclubchicago.org/2025/11/10/b...
Border Patrol Agents Pose At 'The Bean' For Apparent Photo Op
The photo op came after agents tear-gassed a Little Village street and were spotted in the area numerous times. At the Bean, one agent shouted, "Everyone say, Little Village!"

It’s 2025, and since I can’t have Democrats with a fucking spine could I at least have notifications I dismiss on iOS also dismiss them on macOS?

Leave it to a set of chicken shit Democrats to cave when they finally stood up to the GOP and were winning with voters because of it.

I fully expect the Epstein files to have nothing in them— everyone getting all riled up for this to be nothing, then they can keep claiming everything Trump does in plain sight also amounts to nothing.

Also cool to hear that Dustin went through the Thrice discography with his wife and his main takeaway was how proud he was of The Alchemy Index. I continue to think it’s one of the greatest.

Super interesting to hear that Dustin Kensrue from Thrice was mostly on the neck pickup on Horizons / West.

A 50-year mortgage is really expensive rent control with massive profits to lenders, dramatically reduced housing mobility, and all of the risk placed on regular people in a housing market downturn.

The amount of AI slop of Trump that imitates actual images of Obama showing care to children, elderly, or animals is very telling.

Reductions in Force not required by shutdowns, have never happened in any previous shutdown, and a judge has ruled they are illegal.
The shutdown is an excuse, not a reason, for them to do what they wanted to do: destroy government.

Anyway, this is a bit of the scratch track I’m actually working on…
November 8, 2025 at 10:05 PM
I’ve been working on some scratch tracks to help us finish writing these next two songs and I found this recording laying around. I don’t even remember how to play this, but I think there’s something to it. https://json.blog/2025/11/08/ive-been-working-on-some.html

It seems kind of crazy to me that part of getting permitting for a data center does not include the capital costs for building the electrical infrastructure required to support the facility for the life time of its operations.

Netflix streaming video quality has been terrible for the last two days, which is especially frustrating when part of what I have to pay extra for is higher quality streaming (over my gigabit connection).

So far my three favorite albums released in 2025 are:

Flickering Resonance by Pelican
Thirst by Slow Crush
Sofa So Good by Totorro

But will Mamdani be able to hire a real Train Daddy that can pull the MTA’s head out of its own ass and maybe whip the Port Authority, Amtrak, and the rest of the region into shape?

Not for nothing, but isn’t there substantially less incentive for bots streaming songs if these services switched to the model that has always made more sense– split my personal $X a month to the artists I streamed.

Hmm, I do sort of think you might have been able to find some experts who could have gently disagreed with the ideas that foreign producers will pay tariffs. Like which other countries are importers supposed to reliably export from when the President changes the tariffs every week.

The Fugitive Slave Act legalized bounty hunting.

It’s crystal clear what Make America Great Again really means.
“Under the plan, bounty hunters may receive “monetary bonuses” depending on how successfully they track down their targets — and how many immigrants they then report to ICE.”

Or ICE could just fund the Klan directly.
ICE Plans Cash Rewards for Private Bounty Hunters to Locate and Track Immigrants
Companies hired by ICE would be given bundles of information on 10,000 immigrants at a time to locate — and paid cash bonuses for performance.
