Badenoch opening jab at PMQs on the UK's new NDC and Climate Financing commitments are pretty telling.

She has totally bought into the 'Uxbridge effect' and we should expect the opposition to frame any policy change on climate as wholly negative for the average consumer.

It appears the government has delayed a decision on the Lower Thames Crossing that was due today - despite announcing yesterday to "end the tory chokehold on infrastructure delivery".

We will probably see a ministerial statement clarifying their decision from Haigh on Monday.

Whoa, National Grid has just announced it will be selling ESO - the national transmission system operator - to the Government for £630m.

This is massive news for renewables which has been bottlenecked for years by grid capacity.
