how do you guys get these calculations? Are you only tracking registered protestors? I personally went with 6 people who did not register. I was the only person in a group of 7 who actually registered… do you think 7 million is a conservative estimate?

5/5 and last, only because I loved that when I read about her, the description said “…she may be regarded as a late bloomer. The publication of Jumping the Queue in 1983 was THE BEGINNING of an intensely creative period of Wesley's life.”

I love the beginning of the book where she details the daily life and work of her homesteader parents. It’s absolutely fascinating especially when compared to how most people live today with nearly everything available to us at the click of a button.

When my grandmother was a child during the Great Depression her father died leaving them in deep poverty. My great grandmother would make egg soup for her 5 young children so they could all have a little bit of the eggs that were available. I think about that every time I see the price of eggs.
