Would be good to see an evidence review of OPCs/DCRs in the PJ, there's plenty out there. This editorial doesn't give pharmacy professionals the health or economic arguments for provision.
In this editorial, we highlight that while the first drug-checking service has now been approved in Scotland, where the only safe drug consumption room is located, the government has reiterated that there are no plans to expand these across the UK

New data shows opt-out blood-borne virus testing in emergency departments is highly effective.
The programme identified many undiagnosed infections, including hepatitis C & HIV but particularly hepatitis B. Almost 70% of people with a new diagnosis hadn't been tested before.
