📢 Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis finds older adults treated with a Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI) have a 41% increased risk of fractures as compared with non-PPI users:

Given fractures are a major cause of morbidity & mortality, PPIs should be used cautiously in older adults.
