Learning to sew by making a lined hanten jacket as my first project. Using textiles I designed. Part of a new exploration of pattern, form, function and color. After a frustrating and spicy but successful sesh with my sewing machine (it was new user error, of course) two sleeve lining panels emerge.

Was so excited to discover that a deliciously aromatic flowering tree in our yard (Harlequin glorybower tree) also produces small fruits from which a beautiful blue dye can be extracted. Of course now I am collecting the little fruits so I can try it!

At what point can US citizens file a class action suit against media companies like CBS for dereliction of duty, misinformation etc. surely their inability to do their jobs has caused damages for real people.

Happy Sunday, Blueskiis

There’s a lot I admire about French artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec’s work. But his exceptional ability to convey empathy is at the top of my list....

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec's art conveys a deep empathy for people who felt like outsiders during La Belle Époque (The Beautiful Era) in Paris.

Sen. Warren Daniel (R–NC, District 46) was caught trading stocks right on the Senate floor.

Didn’t even wait for a break. Playing the market on the taxpayers’ time…pure abuse of power.

A sneak peek at another part of my latest personal project, incorporating digital and physical processes and leaning into my multidisciplinary experience. Creating new original designs, crafted for contemporary collectors and modern spaces. 💛
