Also struck by the bizarre answer to Sky News where he said that the U.K. had recently been run by an ‘Indian’ PM (Rishi Sunak is British) and that former subordinate colonies of Britain were therefore now ruling us. Totally wild insight into his mind.
“What wretched question have you prepared for me?” My surreal Q&A with Alexander Lukashenko. He claimed his opponents had “chosen” prison or exile (in reality the authorities had chosen to target them.) Plus, "Prison is for people who opened their mouths too wide" Thanks @lizashuvalova.bsky.social

This is as good as the discovery some years back that Cornish ducks make more relaxed sounds than London ones. The Cockney quack is like a shout, whereas the Cornish version is more of a giggle.

The biggest danger for Ukraine could be Donald Trump’s desire for a quick success in ending the war. He’ll put huge pressure on Ukraine to accept a maximum loss of territory, and may well not insist on foolproof ways of stopping Russia coming back for more, later on.

Tomorrow, Keir Starmer unveils Labour’s Plan for Change, a roadmap for the next four years.

With his approval ratings plummeting, Shehab Khan says the PM has to deliver meaningful change – not just lofty words about new goals.

(Covers exhaustion, relief, sadness, collapses onto the sofa, or whatever fits the bill).
