I’m in Liverpool for work and popped up a day early (despite the football) to go to the Western Approaches museum. My Great Grandfather George Philip Grieve was sunk in December 1940 by U101 in the Atlantic….

Given that the man who owns the platform gave not one, but two Nazi salutes at Trump’s inauguration today, I have just deactivated my Twitter/X account completely. I’d been dithering because doing so means saying goodbye to nearly 4.5k followers there, but frankly, fuck Musk the fascist. I’m done.
