The Chainsaw Man Reze film is one of the best films I've seen all year.

Honestly elevates an already-great arc of the manga into something special. It made me fall in love with the arc and Reze as a character all over again

The music, the fucking MUSIC, deserves awards.

While I got into Toku properly last year, this year I’ve gone through a LOT of Kamen Rider and am looking to get into Sentai in earnest

KAMEN RIDER EX-AID - FINISHED

I've never been happier to be so wrong.

First half is (IMO) not super strong, but the second half makes up for it. It kicks into high-gear and doesn't stop.

The last 10 episodes are just non-stop Peak Kamen Rider.

An all-timer for sure.

Our first ever Kamen Rider show that we watched weekly from beginning to end. Consistently amazing, beautiful suits and action, my second-favourite main cast, favourite tertiary. Its only really wrinkle for me is the villains and the finale

Yea this is good. Formulaic as hell and drags in its middle chunk. But, its main cast works incredibly well and its genuinely incredibly funny.
My biggest issue with it is that it doesn't do anything interesting with time travel til VERY late

Deeply flawed in a lot of ways, with a final arc that frequently trips over itself.

And yet despite that, despite all its issues, I loved it. Its sleek, stylish, tons of fun with a great main cast, and a genuinely very sweet final episode.

KAMEN RIDER OOO
Finished

Absolutely peak, all-time favourite. Drags a little in its middle third, but the last third is incredible. Eiji might be my favourite main Rider so far, an Ankh might be my favourite non-Rider so far.
The strongest recommendation.

Caught-up to currently-airing episode (16 at time of writing).

Holy shit this is good. First time watching an ongoing series and Gavv has perhaps the most consistent quality in a series I’ve seen far next to Kamen Rider Build.

Now this is the good shit.

I’m surprised at how firmly this has hooked me. I started watching about a week ago and haven’t stopped, its just so much fun.

If it keeps up this level of quality it might supplant Build as my favourite Rider series so far.

I do not care for Kamen Rider Ex-Aid.

I’ve seen people say that its good, great even. But so far, I just don’t think its for me; I’ve stuck with it so far to see what everyone else has, but at this point it’s not worth it.

The first Kamen Rider series I’ve ever watched and an incredible series to start with. A series that balances its darker and more serious themes with genuinely very funny bits, and asks what Kamen Riders fight for.
