OTD three years ago I disturbed this yearling buck sleeping in the garden. He stopped to observe the kitten in the corn before departing as I herded him back to the open gate.
No corn was damaged during this adventure.

Just resting in the shade, not eating the corn or flowers. This buck was tamed eating fallen fruit the previous year, before losing his spots. OTD ten years ago this Sungold tomato was getting out of hand, with immense vines growing up to fourteen feet long. I had to improvise more and more trellis and support. This year everything is later, big contrast.

OTD in 2018 the single tree lily bulb was in full bloom. Today it has multiplied to six large bulbs and numerous smaller starts.

OTD two years ago, the tree lilies were really showing off. This year their schedule is much slower, but they have begun opening. I divided these bulbs into three containers with two bulbs each.
