UC ➡️ polyps ➡️Ileostomy ➡️J-Pouch. Still have PSC and pouchitis. Burn survivor. If you are an influencer or your posts are sponsored it's a hard No! Also, I have a really bad sense of humor.
Life is hard, but we are survivors.

Aww the good ole anal intrusion. Tell the doc to use lots of lube, we've taken it dry for too long. You might get a laugh or a really bad eye roll.

Ulcerative colitis yes has potential to affect liver via primary schlorosing colongitis. Hardening of the liver bile ducts. And ya have cysts all over my internal body, shoulder, pancreas, stomach lining. Most likely find many more as time goes on. I just plan on outliving them.

I underestimated the acid shits. One good thing is when you fart you know you are done. Kinda weird but mostly true. Ha ha ha. Whole new world. 😂

Yep these surgeries mess with your sex life. Talk to your doctor about dick pills. Sorry, medication for erectile dysfunction. Just don't overdo it. If you are prescribed a med try a fraction of the pill first. They really do a thing in your body, make you dizzy etc.

Yep that's it. You will never have a "normal" turd ever again, but you will adjust. Oh and dehydration will always be a thing. Grape G-Zero is my go to.

There is a really awesome jpouch group on Facebook you might want to check out so you are prepared for your reversal. My recommendation is get a bidet.

I eat gluten free, a Banana a day when needed and rice as often as possible. Surprisingly Asian foods such as mild Curry's don't make my life hell. Oh and no sugar, sugar bad, stevia is where it is at and watch the other sweeteners that have complicated names.

I destroy the bathroom at work pretty much daily, and I take full ownership. I also have a coffee mug that says one fart away from a shit.

I do hope it helps. Just remember we are survivors!

Rice and bananas are my friends. I don't have an ostomy anymore but a jpouch. Western food and I do not get along. A banana smoothie or a good curry, very mild spice and rice are my new best friends. Even a good Korean bulgogi beef and rice helps settle my stomach. Also try gluten free.
