Cooking is genuinely a skill. So is sourcing groceries, managing food inventory, and meal planning. It's vulnerable to admit that you don't have a skillset a lot of people (incorrectly) see as basic.

I can understand why someone would come up with a convoluted justification for not cooking.

I am a Schumer constituent. His phone just hangs up if you don't call during business hours (no evenings or weekends, not even a machine.) I'm submitting through his website and I'll call on Monday.

His system impedes constituent access to their elected reps. It's inexcusable.
