What this clip makes brutally clear is that Schumer, who had the skills to be majority leader, lacks the skills to be minority leader--especially at this moment. "Wait for Trump's polls to drop so we can win" isn't a plan. Neither is "The people have to rise up first." That's a shrug. He's gotta go.
