My very first cat that I got in 2009 has only 8 days left earthside. I got her when I was 24 years old and she’s been by my side for everything. Her mobility is very limited these days; she often doesn’t make it into the box.

There is a pair of eastern kingbirds on my deck. One keeps swooping down to grab a grasshopper (of which we have an abundance) and then feeds it to the other.
Bonus: cat saying kekek to a mourning dove.
