Throughout the years I’ve been finding myself more and more accepting of cliche video game / movie stories in favor of just allowing the execution of them to captivate me aka don’t be critical and just accept that I can like predictable stories and tropes, seek the fun and receive it I guess lol

If the TTYD has a feature called "Tattle Check" (I assume rereading the tattle dialogue) I trust the devs to make other smart small changes like that.
Hopefully the Luigi stories stay stories since I loved the idea of his stories not being experienced by the player lol.

I swear if the Pokemon Presents shows off a Legends Unova of a noir setting where you're on a journey to find a purrlion or something like that'd be so cool LOL. I feel Legends Unova being in the relative past would somewhat overlap with Detective Pikachu in a way though.

I'd lose my shit if there's a Billy Hatcher remake tomorrow, probably not happening since SEGA showed off their future titles recently (though I suppose those were also retro titles like Billy Hatcher)

Every Love Plus game has their soundtrack available somewhere BUT Love Plus Every, the smartphone game. Either that or I haven't found it anywhere? Konami has been pretty good at releasing the soundtrack of each of the games BUT Love Plus Every's.

I still find it pretty funny how I spent a week finding a high quality clip of Yuki Saito smoking since the wiki page on her mentioned her LDS beliefs got in the way of her smoking for real but she used a fake cigarette for this movie. I find it funny lol. Hope the movie gets English subs one day!

Another Code Recollection's story is honestly resonating with me more than I thought it would, the two parts were honestly simple experiences but incredibly impactful ones. I've been listening to the credits song a lot today and it's making me cry lol. I didn't expect to like the game that much.

Just beat Another Code: Recollection. I hadn't played the original but I could tell the DS visual novel / puzzle vibe from it and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't get over how nice the characters look in this game, they've really done a good job with stylizing them

E3 no longer being a thing sucks because theyre really isn’t a replacement for it for those who want to be at a gaming thing like it in person. That and the Game Awards as the “replacement” is NOT anywhere close to being good. I love Nintendo Directs for being straight forward with games.

I was looking at playstation magazine and nintendo power magazines for the first time and its really a shame such fun way to present games in such an artistic way is gone. Videos and trailer and such are effective but those magazines really ooze personality.

My Mythra GameCube controller with clear resin buttons that I use as a PC controller because I’m very wise with my purchases (he only plays games that don’t need all four shoulder buttons)
