I think @billycarpy.bsky.social is definitely the most analytical and thorough Arsenal voices (not limited to just writers). Probably even one of the best at what he does independent of club allegiance. Great lunch time read.

Literally. His Sociedad tapes scream “good player”, however every time I watch him for Spain I’m so impressed.
His work for the national team is so critical for understanding Zubimendi. There's more of a cocoon around him, so he's more ambitious, presses higher, joins the front-line, does a lot of interesting things.

Was so instinctive
One of the more unheralded moments from yesterday's game but I really liked Declan Rice's first time pass for the opening goal. Not easy to hit that with the right pace and spin given how it came to him. It gave Kai Havertz every option he could have.

I dunno why it has to be a battle for Arsenals best player but it’s quite simple for me.
Saka is our best player, I expect him more than anyone to win us a game through an action.
