With apologies to Crockett & Sunol, Martinez is my new No. 1 choice if I need to go into witness relocation in the Bay Area.
I went there by bike & train (🫡 @Amtrak Capitol Corridor 🚆) and built a case to make this your next day trip.

I was in line for coffee and heard this voice. I thought “That dude sounds JUST like Ryan Coogler.”
I turn around, and IT IS Ryan Coogler! People were coming up and singing his praises, so I had to as well. We chatted about Skyline, Saint Mary’s, 70 mm at the Grand Lake, etc. Extremely cool dude.
