Yet another 20 min call to a service provider to ask them to reduce their renewal "offer" (a 25% increase) to match last year's amount.
Which they did straightaway without any begging or threats from me.
I know they do this because most British people can't face haggling but F me it is tiring.

Good news, the (reform-led) council have confirmed that our local zebra crossing will be repainted. Hopefully not with extra red.

So was *The Sun* ‘inciting violence’ against Nigel Farage in 2014 when its editorial described his racist comments on my show as ‘racism, pure and simple’? And would somebody who interviews these ghouls on a regular basis at least ask them this question!

Watching a HIGNFY from 3 years ago - amazing how much has changed - most of it is about L.Truss and spiralling energy prices / tanking economy.
Amazing how short some people's memories are. *That* was when Britain was broken.

"Your mum shouts at hotels because she's a mother, not a racist"

Driving down the A1 near Newcastle on Thursday, I saw a bridge decorated with 4 flags: England, UK, Reform-style "make England great again" and 3 lions.
On Friday there were 3 as the reform one had been removed. They aren't as popular as the media makes out.

Good old royal mail. Arranged to have a parcel collected on Tuesday. They insisted on coming today, when I would be out. Too late to change.

I helped someone on a local fb group earlier. Then I clicked on their profile to see a load of gammon fuelled anti immigrant / anti starmer posts. Ie, the complete opposite of me.
Hopefully my act of kindness will be paid forward somehow.
