We are very excited today to announce that Wendy Eisenberg will be joining the family of artists here at Joyful Noise Recordings. Joining them on the roster is another of Wendy's projects, Editrix. Editrix are an acclaimed noise-rock trio with Steve Cameron and Josh Daniel accompanying Eisenberg.

It was also one of the last albums recorded by the late great Steve Albini. Albini's legendary recordist skills shine through wonderfully on the album - leaving in little nudges and foot tap sounds in addition to the pedal steel and vocals. It just adds to the surreality of the music.

Good article about the ecological impact of various mundane internet actions - downloads, video calls, etc. People talk about AI having a CO2 impact but nobody's talked boycotting "cloud-based" technologies when they cropped up - it should be part of that conversation!

It's interesting to see a moment where the conglomerated advertising projects of social media actually have a chance to splinter. For a long time, it's felt like there's no 'third space' on the internet - everywhere you can hang your hat, someone is making money off of you
